The CBN Leadership Programme – Journey with Christ – is designed by Catholic professionals and priests for those who aspire to integrate Faith into Leadership at work. Programme Faculty and Advisory Panel

The Programme is developed and taught by a Faculty of Catholic Priests and Leadership Practitioners with breadth and depth of experience in leading business, corporate and non-profit organisations. It is guided by a Programme Advisory Panel of successful Catholic Leaders, who serve as Mentors to nurture a new generation of Christian leaders in Singapore.

Who Should Attend?

We invite applications from Christian professionals who are:

Aged between 25 and 50, and employed in business, corporate, public, or non-profit organisations

Hold direct leadership responsibility for a team and/or an organisation

Demonstrate a desire to develop a strong spiritual foundation alongside practical leadership capabilities to lead self and others effectively in the workplace

Why do we have a leadership programme?

The CBN Leadership Programme was designed as a response to the lack of leadership programmes that focus on providing a balance and practical approach to Christian and secular leadership. Most of the available leadership programmes are either focusing on how to understand and build Christian-driven leadership like Servant Leadership for personal Faith building in life, or secular leadership skills for personal success at work.

The CBN Leadership Programme was designed to meet both needs, thus, a balance approach to build strong Christ-like-Character and practical leadership skills to succeed at work, and importantly, how to practice Christian Faith at work and in life. The main objective of the programme is to build sufficient Christ-like-minded leaders to start and sustain a movement of bringing Christ in every leadership action at work and in life.

What is the programme about?

The programme consists of four key elements of learning as follows:

Building a strong Christ-like character by understanding principles and practical actions to bring Christ at work and in life
Developing spiritual habits to guide leadership actions at work and in life through SPED (Scripture, Prayers, Examen and Discernment)
Learning how to lead-self through internalizing God’s given Competence, establishing personal Commitment to continually learn to leverage God’s given talents for the goodness of self and others, and building effective Communication skills to engage others to walk in the same path
Learning how to successfully lead others through understanding the Context, i.e. God’s plan at work and in life, building Capability of others to succeed at work, and bring Compassion in leadership at work and in life.

What are the benefits of this programme?

This is an experiential programme that allows the participants to journey with Christ with the facilitation from the faculty, spiritual director, mentor, and community. The journey doesn’t stop after the formal 15-week sessions, but will continue throughout time depending on the decision by each participant, and of course, the lifetime journey with Christ by applying the learnings. The key objective is to be part of the movement to bring Christ through successful leadership actions at work and in life.

Who should attend the programme?

The programme is designed for all God-sent Christians who want to successfully lead with Christ at work and in life. The priority will be given to Christians, who are holding or will soon hold leadership positions at work.
